I'm Loren, they/them, the creative force behind Fuck Yeah Weddings. Fueled by an unwavering passion for weddings and a steadfast commitment to liberating marriers from societal expectations, I stand as the wedding professional you want in your corner.

My journey began over a decade ago as a wedding photographer, and naturally evolved into the creation of Fuck Yeah Weddings. After years of guiding clients through day-of schedules, providing vendor recommendations, managing spirited wedding parties, and soothing anxious parents, I decided to offer these services professionally to couples in need. I founded FYW in 2017 to be a catalyst for change in the wedding industry, prioritizing couples who are often underrepresented. I'm here for the LGBTQIA+ community, unconventional relationships (polyamory, triads, etc.), Black, indigenous and POC individuals and couples, people of all sizes, those with disabilities, and everyone who doesn't see themselves in glossy bridal magazines. It's our time to shine!

As a nonbinary queer parent, I’m actively queering any and all spaces I can. A Pisces sun, Aquarius rising, and Taurus moon, I was born and raised in the greater Seattle area, currently residing in South Seattle with my agender spouse Aeden, child Jules, and our menagerie of pets. (5 cats, 2 dogs and 1 parrot!)

The Business

As a part of the wedding industry, I'm determined to be a part of the change that promotes authenticity and love for those celebrating marriage. I am here to queer up any space that I can! Advocating for inclusion and representation for all marriers, I encourage language in the industry that is truly inclusive. I will ask for your pronouns and those of your partner(s).

In the realm of Fuck Yeah Weddings, you will never be just another client, and this will never be just another transaction. I am here for YOU, ensuring you get what you need on this momentous day in your lives. Your wedding day should be unlike any other; you should be present and as joyful as you can imagine.

As a queer, non-binary owned and operated venture, Fuck Yeah Weddings is inviting marriers to critically examining your wedding in the best way possible. Feel uneasy about the garter toss? Me too! Don't want to be "given" to your future spouse? Forget it. Too many traditions come from problematic patriarchal roots, and there is nothing you have to include, nothing you "should" do. Let's deep dive into everything from the accessibility of your venue to the environmental impact of the wedding industry, along with any other personal values you hold as a couple that you want reflected in how you celebrate your union as spouses.
